Is there a good NPR podcast (or other podcast) for catching up on the news daily? I deleted all socials except here and I would like to get my news from a reputable source.

My 5 year old is learning punctuation and whenever he sees an exclamation point at the end of the sentence he just screams the word that precedes it

Being a person with deadly, incurable cancer who is nonetheless still alive for an indefinite timeframe gives me an interesting metaphor that helps me deal with things like large-scale corruption in government or commerce.
