I do hope to return to Megaplex again next year, or maybe attend a different American convention to see what the experience is like elsewhere.
Comparing it to a British convention there is no comparison, it is certainly a unique experience, and for a convention to hit 10,000 attendees with a roughly 40% increase from the year before, that is simply insane and shows how fast the con is growing.
Megaplex was certainly an experience and one of my best experiences at a furcon to date. I've never attended an American convention before until now and it has exceeded all expectations.
I had a great time and met some amazing people, as well as grabbing some amazing merchandise from the den.

Watchdogs Legion is slowly becoming more and more realistic in terms of personal data availability... All it takes is one firm to accidentally store your facial data unencrypted and we'll have chaos.
CFz may be fast approaching and I might be missing out on the biggest con in the UK but I am definitely more excited for Megaplex this year!

The seats might not be the most comfy and you will end up boarding from a bus or using steps to board the aircraft but you get what you pay for. It's the equivalent of a bus from A to B with a fair bit more planning.
A lot of people usually have a grudge against low-cost airlines, however being on the front of it all you really do start to understand why they do things differently. I've found my budget experience with @ryanairofficial.bsky.social rather pleasent and enjoyable.
