British people want leaders they can be proud of. Patriotism would be taking water back into public ownership. It would cost nothing. Simply enforce the fines. Share prices would drop to zero. And the government would look like it has a backbone.

What do people want in politicians? Well, it's not to hear your dad was a toolmaker. Starmer has been wasting his time with that incessant line - but politicians like Farage will have similar problems before long

Asked “what do you want from politicians?” top answers were:
- Listening to people
- Keeping their promises
- Delivering Value for money, and
- Working cross-party.
