RIP Mac, I'm grateful we got to have some nice Christmases with you, and whenever we see a train we will think of you.
I am at least grateful that there were quite a few of us gathered to express our concern. We were all huddled asking questions about if we had seen his bins put out, lights on etc., so it's a comfort that people noticed and that we kind of had a nice sense of community amongst ourselves.
We saw him off when they came to collect him because I felt like I somehow wanted him to know there were people there for him.
Adam made a nice suggestion that in lieu of a service we can attend that we could invite the neighbours for a drink or something.
I will try to speak to the council to see if there will be any kind of service that we would be allowed to attend, I don't like the thought of there being nothing where we couldn't at least share some of our memories of him.
Sadly the police confirmed he had passed away.
As far as any of us know, he doesn't have any family. He spent several Christmases with us.
Very sad day today.
Adam and I spent a chunk of the day on our doorstep with several neighbours. None of us had seen our neighbour for a while. We guessed the last time any of us saw him was over a week ago. No answer knocking on the door so the police were called. He would always answer the door.

Today I received my first Purdy & Fig box. Used the Spruce essential oil to clean the towel rail in the bathroom ready for our new towels🌲
We went to The Wernley yesterday as a pre-Valentine's Day treat and celebrating my first week back at work after being signed off.
