Some excellent jungle terrain and miniatures from the collection of Mel the Terrain Tutor. The 28mm miniatures are Warlord Games, and the buildings are from 4Ground. These pictures are from Operation Dracula in WS&S 126.
I'll be happy to give you some pointers. I'll write a blog this week on how I take photos. I'm no expert by any means but it might have some good pointers.
Nice work! With a good depth of field, these would be fantastic in the magazine.
The olive branch is still there, if you wish to take it up.
As far as ignoring your suggestions, I'm not sure where this comes from. I forward each suggestion given to me to the team for discussion. WS&S strength has always been to listen to reader feedback.
The ranges are listed from largest to smallest.
It is a shame you did not save that email, then at least you could have quoted me correctly. I did not say how wrong you were either.
I reached out with an olive branch and you never replied.
At no point did I say that in our correspondence.
I did say: "... where I can, I encourage different scales."
Also: "... I am seeing a lot of positive from this email... I would be interested in working on ideas how we could improve things, if you are willing."
That would have been an email from me, and in that email, you may recall me praising the work of Per Broden and his 6mm, which I described as a 'masterpiece'.

The latest WSS podcast is out. We’ve got lots of global correspondents out and about in this episode updating us on their local wargaming scene.
The Usual Suspects, but which one is Keyser Soze?
Of course! :-D
Butcher and Bolt isn't ready yet. We are reviewing 1918.
Yes, the Falke and Uhu.
The Ice Queen does, too. One person, one vote. She's the lady, and she has the one and only vote!
Tell that to the Ice Queen! :-P
I see autocorrect changed the author's name from Brendan! Apologies - my volunteer Sam posted this. I'll ask him to check things before he posts in future. Hopefully no harm done.
This was posted by my helper Sam. Bless him! No capital letter for the Austrians either! D'oh!
You'll forgive Sam, my friend who helped me out today. He's still learning. And indeed, Britain, not England!
Hey, BlueSkyers! We've to an article for WS&S which needs pictures of 28mm single Austrians suitable for the Italian Campaign of 1800. They need to be well painted to be in the magazine. Has anyone any suggestions?
There's a new WSS podcast! WSS Podcast 97 - Questions about hairdos and everything else with @anguswallace.bsky.social, @thedarkiscool.bsky.social, @clogfather.bsky.social and @markbackhouse29.bsky.social https://www.karwansaraypublishers.com/blogs/wss-blog/wss-podcast-97-questions-about-hairdos-an…
In the midst of everything going on in the world, your regular reminder that the WSS Digital Subscription www.karwansaraypublishers.com/en-gb/pages/... is IMHO probably about the best value #Wargaming purchase you can make.
And no, @thedarkiscool.bsky.social is not paying me to say this 😆
LOL!
LOL only occasionally! I'd grow tired of listening to my own voice... :-D
I'm looking for some suggestions for Wargames-related podcasts to listen to. What suggestions do my fellow Blue Skyers have?
As I recall, there's also the Eureka Samurai in 15mm...

There are ranges by Khurasan, Essex, Old Glory and Irregular. You might be a bit stuck on the fantasy side, but that's not my forte!
I am a fan of the Peter Pig range. That'd be a good start.

As I recall, the old Two Dragons range is with Minifigs.
