I quite liked some of Bradley’s books and, weirdly, my brother lived with her sister in law for awhile (I met Diana but never Marion) MZB also was editor for a series of sword and sorceress anthologies where I found authors I still read to this day so I was predisposed to try it.

I mean, I’m right there with her (also I imagine that men might need to hide from Banny just to get some rest)

Me:why am I cold
Also me: almost always the answer to this is a blood sugar crash, why do you keep asking the question?

I don’t really have a ton of MCU ships because they’re all so neutered that I don’t believe any of them fuck. Now in comics…

I loved it because of the strong pagan thread through it. But I was a teenager and didn’t see all the problematic bits that learning about MZB brought to the forefront

I mean it’s not my FAVORITE ship but it’s a good one. The artist only had Stucky, the good omens one and a Sherlock one. As an aside my favorite ship name is for even though I hate Stark) Banner/stark/rogers. β€œStark spangled Banner”

Heh. Did you not see the reply? The inside of the shirt has a picture of capt. America and Bucky Barnes closing in for a kiss. I have another by the same person that show Crowley and Aziraphale

Yep! Most of the time people don’t ask and it makes me sad because it amuses me greatly

Now you’re just being greedy. If it’s not clear btw, the kids picture is on the inside of the shirt so you flip the bottom up when people ask.

I was talking to a friend about β€œMists of Avalon” which, knowing what I know about the author now, is objectively a terrible a book but formative on my feelings about Arthurian legend and Guinevere in general

Helena greer’s carrigan Christmas tree farm books are so good & you know they are because they’re largely queer woman romance & I have nothing in that game (though I would like to order a Cole now, thank you very much) just finished the third, β€œhers for the weekend” will buy whatever she writes next

I don’t know if I have several neighbors that often set off their fire alarm or one neighbor that’s a dragon who keeps setting fire to the curtains.

I originally read it after I saw the movie because I'd heard things about how he treats his female characters badly and I wanted to compare against the movie. But there are no main female characters in the book at all.

A column clipping from PRIVATE EYE. "A longboat full of Vikings, promoting the new British Museum exhibition, was seen sailing past the Palace of Westminster yesterday (see page 16). Famously uncivilised, destructive and rapacious, with an almost insatiable appetite for rough sex and heavy drinking, the MPs nonetheless looked up for a bit to admire the vessel."

I got some Tejava (bottled tea) in my last grocery order-I needed to pad the amount to make the minimum but they gave me peach tea instead of plain.
Since it’s not a sweetened tea it’s drinkable but it does taste like tea quaffed from the decapitated head of a Strawberry Shortcake doll.

Good tension is the hardest part. I knit continental-ish, so the way I control how tight my knitting is is by adjusting the tension between where I'm holding the yarn and the knitting. But I do knit continental-ish and purling is actually faster me than knit in some cases. So I'm weird :-)

I used to do that too. I'd have to see how you're knitting (I knit weird enough that people have come over to tell me that I knit weird when I do it in public) but if you can hold the yarn in a way that keeps the tension at where you want it consistently it helps a lot in my experience.

Very fun political fantasy with a strong romance thread. Definitely worth checking out if you like that sort of thing.

Where I can I try to do a yearly payment because of just that reason (and a couple of the creators said it was easier for them that way) but I still get a charge here and there constantly.

A screen shot of a very early X-Man comic where Beast starts a new beatnik movement and Bobby Drake flirts with a girl where the alt text is: Hank Mcoy is abducted by foot worshipping beatniks as Bobby Drake feigns heterosexulity.

The alt text on this is perfect. 10/10 no notes.
