My mom apparently has the heat cranked up to eleventy billion and even with the vents closed and the widow (which admittedly goes to the sun room rather than outside) open my room is hot. This doesn’t bode well for sleep during this trip

My roommate last night took out the trash because he'd thrown away chicken bones in it & they got stinky. This was good. However, he then proceeded to light six DIFFERENTLY scented candles to deal with the smell. It smelled like a potpourri store exploded in here when I got home.

One way to ensure you're drinking a lot of liquid (I mean, not water but...) is to make an entire pot of tea, have nothing to keep that tea warm so drink it as fast as you can before it gets cold.

Sometimes I have to roll my eyes at super restrictive government web sites where I have to have a password, scan a QR code, do the hokey pokey and sacrifice a goat to get in. I get security is important but, honestly, what's someone going to do? Maliciously submit a research proposal?

I got the RSV one despite not being officially eligible. I think I was flagged for it because I have an inhaler prescription for exercise induced asthma. Happily got it (though I fell over for a weekend after)

Another morning another three "Yes, I'm absolutely sure I don't want to use your AI monstrosity" questions from various aps.

My contacts are driving me bats but they and then green shirt i'm wearing really make my eyes pop in zoom meetings.

Because I just dropped a fair amount of money on replacing my contacts I've been trying to wear them more and remembering that allergies often make that less than fun.
