Do FAB players seriously want armory decks to come out and not have unique playable cards? They want a product that... no one will buy? Business geniuses on the internet these days

Yeah I love guardian and losing the Nuu MU is great but her gone made Verdance way better and now Gravy is around too, and this is mostly about the blue bases people are running being largely the same without her around

So now that Nuu is gone all those decks complaining their blue base was held up started running different blues right? And guardian mains are happy and have a good MU spread right? No?? Wait nobody changed their blues at all??? I was told she was gatekeeping blues from everyone???? #fabtcg

Pro Tours already have plenty of players outside the top 0.001 percent though? I don't think it's wrong to say that I want at least one kind of tournament at the local level that has the highest level of competition possible. IRL tournament game quality blows tali testing out of the water imo

That is such a great way to put it! There is nothing wrong with there being people better than me at the game, I've never won multiple events in a PQ season ever, I just don't like the kind of negative sentiment people have over individuals that have won by their own merits

This isn't even about the LSS decision btw it's about incredibly bad faith takes I've been seeing all day. Pro players in fab have been the most helpful people I could've asked for in helping me grow as a player and people are acting like they're some sort of privileged ruling class it is ridiculous

Okay I'm getting really annoyed at some of these PQ takes and it's making me more negative than I like being. There are already so many types of events for casual players. Why am I being made to feel bad for wanting pro level competition at "PROQUEST" tournaments?????

I have won 2 GFs in my life, from different PQ seasons. This is not going to stop collusion at all, and I do not remotely understand how it would? More players can qualify without barring winners from playing the game they love.

"This just gives more players a chance" I see people say. A chance to do what? Win because the winners are gone? You can already win! You can already learn and improve! Armories are for casual players, Skirmishes too, do you not want to compete in this competitive event?

Playing and beating pro players with testing teams is how I got good enough to feel deserving to go to the PT if I won. Now I'm just gonna miss out on that practice. Idk guys, is winning that much more important than improving to y'all? Sentiment around this bums me out.

There's a reason not being talked about that this PQ change sucks. Normal players like me with competitive aspirations and no fancy testing team only get PQs and RTNs to play against the greatest players in their region and improve. Now, every week of PQ drops those players from the pool. #fabtcg

Even the Iyslander reveal at the end... it wasn't new art and seemed attached to Project Blue? I would've liked a little clarity on what that was if that was gonna be the only announcement of anything new

That seemed like a real cool keynote if you are excited for Pleiades but I was pretty disappointed. No new Lyath card, his playmat randomly missing from PQ, no product announcements, untalented Necro is a cosplay exclusive, I usually try to focus on the good but that really underwhelmed me

Me biting my tongue as warrior mains say the class is garbage when Fang and Kassai were both meta because Dori and Olympia aren't doing well as they all whine that assassin is busted because of Nuu and Slippy even though Huntsman and Uzuri both struggle too

That is possible! I'm hoping we see a couple more ways than his Liar's Charm to interact with existing guardian staples so he isn't *too* silo'd into playing just the reviled attacks but we shall see!

Lyath's ability only halves the base attack of cards you *control* but cards in hand are not yet considered to be under your control. This means attack actions have their full power for the purposes of being revealed to Rouse the Ancients, and its +7 won't get halved!

Pitch a blue for his hero ability and rampart to block 10 on a 5 card hand. The crowd boos you, get a might token. Swing Titan's Fist, rounded down to 2, gets +1 from its ability and +1 from might token back up to 4. Easy 14 value hand, and still only spending 3 cards from deck.

30 blues gives abt a 69% chance of drawing at least 2 blues in a 4 card hand. In a 5 card hand? That's up to 82%.

Reinforce the Line & Oasis Respite get a full 4 value with his hero text, and he'll often have 1 float after activating his ability for Oasis.

Really wish the other Lyath arts captured the feeling of this one. I adore character designs with huge noses, and his claws and mask here are such cool details. I didn't expect to love the first dwarf hero they added this much but he oozes everything I love abt villainous designs. 5 int is so badass

Been rather afk since my fiancee is visiting from Portugal but I am so unbelievably stoked for Lyath it keeps me up at night. He is perfection. They keep pulling me into building more heroes lmao thank god I already have a Guardian collection
