I worked on this superboss very late in shattered heart developpement (a polish update i released years later) Its kind of a reimagining of black heart final boss.

Its actually similar to how id eventually design fights in irredeamable.

She specialize in melee combat, but can only briefly fly due to her hardened body weighting her down.

Through the postgame does provide you with a nearby shop and shower you with coins with each boss defeated,so you can grind easier bosses to buy items for the hard ones.

Its not the hardest fight in the game but there is a lot to manage, especially in the last phase. The main struggle is that endgame healing items are expensive so you can only buy a handful while damage is plentiful and items don't restore on death

If we miss a session i usually push for a reshedule in the next few days so the pacing isnt interupted by delaying a whole week.

That kind of flexibility is especially important if one of your member has an unpredictable work shedule to work around.

Honestly, i think being unable to enjoy what you create is as much of an obstacle to progress than being unable to see the flaws in it.

That kind of self-destructive attitude would eventually undermine your ability to progress as you cant decipher between what you did well and what you havent.

So im not fammiliar with godot. Are people able to just add Ai code to the engine and people need to work extra hard to take it out or is it more a case where progress on the engine is severely slowed because way too much of the code they receive is AI?

There the practical issue for me that game maker studio generate rooms from left to right and up to down. I can make rooms that go left and often do but they need more commitment.

Their appetite is huge and they have access to a lot of resources but their funds are not unlimited. They can't keep pushing ai forever because it's draining so much money out of them

In a lot of cases, there was just less shit to figure out. Nes had only a crosspad and 4 buttons so ud figure out what you can do pretty quick
