Bows down to Tamm for another amazing set of art. Unmatched!

I think the biggest damage to the art community was the obsolescence of gallery sites (y!, deviantart, etc) and the rise of scroll-by social media, like twitter and even tumblr. Art is not ''content'', you shouldnt need to post art every day (or every month!) to be relevant. This mindset sucks.

I must say I am still in awe over the response the Toriel art is receiving. 💙

It's actually a bit easier, more simple than what I would usually do. Kinda approaching it like cell-shading and trying to omit the idea of using transparency actions like multiply or overlay.

Starting to give myself some inspiration and focusing on color limitations. I think ill call it "Palette Project". Working from a set of color palettes I found online and ONLY using those colors. Allows me to no be so wrapped up in details and more-so the ideas.

I wanted to change things up and share some fan-works I have done for mutuals and followers. Interacting and creating for the art/creative community and their OCs brings out a lot of ideas and inspiration, and I hope to do many more this year.

Putting the final touches on the next artwork, and I am once again stuck on details such as saliva/spit on the body. It is a detail I hope to find a really good and quick way to render, but it is a challenge.

Draw what you want! Sounds really basic but solely making art with the expectation of popularity + success will poison the well of your artistic spirit, and you won’t really develop an artistic voice if you’re just trying appease your audience at all times, save for a voice that actually isn’t yours

Unfortunately some of the other Follower OC arts that others reached out to me for and were completed were by-request to not be shared, but it was a blast doing a few of those to start off the year.

Now I just gotta think about what art idea should come next?
