Thank you! :)
Just finished my latest story, a sci-fi horror novelette called The Dead Weight! It's about a space taxi captain and his android friend investigating a ship in their fleet that has "gone dark" right after a mysterious breach. Enjoy!

Awesome!!!
I love this cover! Is the story similar to Harry Potter? because the cover gives serious HP vibes! :)
Two things kinda really stress me out sometimes.
1. Writing
2. Not writing
Donโt even get me started on trying to sell said writing.

Sure! Unfortunately I canโt afford commissions currently, but if you like the stories and feel inspired, Iโd love to see what you come up with :)
Awesome work!! :)
I wish! Unfortunately Iโm not much of a visual artist (yet), nor are any of my current audience
โSaโ and a dog named Rinty are the only characters visualized in my 2nd edition, which has chapter page images
Thank you, no problem! :)
self-published 5 "books" total. 2 versions of a novel, a play collection, a short story book, and a poetry collection. I've delisted 3 of the books, and I'm republishing the novel and play collection as new editions :) I'm also publishing short stories to my Substack and Kindle Unlimited soon
The morning routine is enough for me to do my minimum daily goal, along with keeping my daily "streak" alive. Then in the afternoons, I try to make more time for work, and the sticky notes and affirmations I'll use any time of day if I'm feeling a little off :)
As for publishing, I've...
Definitely routine. I make myself do what I told myself I would, by putting it first thing in the morning ๐ as for mindset shifts, I do that a lot too. I have sticky notes and affirmations :)
Iโm sitting down to revise + republish a book I wrote + published 3 years.
The work isnโt very funโฆ but I want to make sure the book is polished for new readers, with a better cover and all.
This is a part of the job of โwriting,โ and I will make the best of it :) ๐

You got this!! โ๏ธ
Sounds awesome!
โThe little things are the big thing.โ
You got it tomorrow!!
Congratulations! ๐ฅณ๐
A lot of writers struggle to delete what needs cut. But if you can do that, youโll always have a leg up. Great work!
Awesome work! Reminds me of a saying, โif the path ahead of you is paved, then it isnโt your pathโ :)
On the 11th, I'll post the beginning of it here and on my Substack. Anyone who wants to read the rest can get it by DMing me, and it'll also be available on Kindle Unlimited shortly after :) I'm very excited!
And yeah, it's totally just a harmless prank... nothing to be afraid of... r-right? ๐
Great work! :)
one with encouragement to submit more? -> great work!! I too like to collect rejections, to remind myself of my effort and how much I can still grow :)
awesome!
Too many writers forget the importance of exercise! Love to see it :)
From my understanding, a novella will be a much harder sell than a novel because they're not getting as much content for purchasing the "book," digitally or physically. You would likely make more money expanding it to a short novel or grouping novellas/short stories into a collection :)
Congrats on your awesome work! :)
Love it!
The full story will be available to read the 11th! :)
in their corporate fleet that has โgone dark.โ Once they land in the hangar bay, however, someone in the control center of the ship closes the hangar door, trapping them and cutting off their communication. The mystery unfolds as they find out why the ship has gone dark, and how to get out alive.
