A slice of vegan cheesecake, with a shortbread crust and then layered white and then red (strawberry) on the top. There is a red sauce drizzled over it. The plate it is on is white with tiny brown dots and a brown rim around the edge, like something your mom might have had in the 70s or 80s. The breakfast plate, with baked beans in their own small white bowl, then spiced roasted potatoes in chunks, a yellow tofu scramble, buttered toast, a small salad with slices of avocado on top. The BBQ plate with baked beans in their own small white bowl. The rest of the plate has white and green coleslaw, spiced chunks of potatoes, red chunks of vegan 'chicken' in a spicy sauce with green onions on top, and then a good sized slice of cornbread with butter.

Went to Springhouse @springhousehfx.bsky.social for brunch today with @rich.lafferty.ca as a belated anniversary thing. Was delicious! I got the BBQ plate and he got the breakfast plate plus we both had strawberry cheesecake for dessert.
