From the museum Infor card: Helmet with Hound Carving. c15th Century From Hawstead Church, this helmet was mounted above a family tomb and represents their heraldry with hound symbolic of knightly values.

I went to the Moyse's Hall Museum today and this is my favourite ridiculous helmet ever.
