watched The Naked Gun (2025) and altogether thought it was quite enjoyable! it’s nice that it felt like a descendant of the originals rather than an exact remake. Feels updated but also energetically stays true to Naked Gun (1 and 2, but not 3 which was shit)

one of my favorite games to play is “Lecoq or Gaulier?” when I see someone who is clearly clown trained and you can tell a Gaulier clown from the fear in their eyes before they do the most wild shit. I can’t describe it.

man, so many incredible clowns trained with Gaulier and I’m so thankful that they went there and not me (would not have gotten out of there alive). Clown is a tradition where your work is so informed by those who guide you through it and damn if Gaulier clowns don’t have a special brand of humility

I think it’s just important to point out that this has happened in another context. When the to-be “k ing” visited Cardiff, we accidentally stumbled upon the people waiting to see him drive to the castle. When his car pulled up, people booed (rightfully so imo) and bbc’s reporting changed it.
