Just me over editing my book videos again (I just like to capture the book vibes, haha)

I’m literally planning on bumping this up to like $30-50k next year, but I’m going to try selling direct more to hit that six figure mark. I have 4 books out for reference, publishing 2 more in 2025.

Alright here is the transparency with how much I have made from KDP royalties:

2023: $1,917.26
2024: $8,825.52

I don’t do ads. I just do social media. I also make way more money from my signed paperback sales (probably due to my YA fantasy market)

I was told that 1,000 prelaunch followers for an indie book on Kickstarter was too ambitious, but we’re currently 2/3rds of the way and it launches in February. Also, let’s not have it sit at this number for too long 😂

I remember thinking I was so original when I had the idea to have 2 main characters who hate each other get forced into an alliance and eventually fall in love.
Then I joined BookTok and learned that’s a whole flipping popular romance trope. 🤷🏼‍♂️
