An imaginative, fast-paced ride with creative worldbuilding and a gripping apocalyptic urgency.

Now I’m diving back into the epic conclusion of Paternus with @undyrk.bsky.social ’s War of Gods!

Finished Wrath of Gods by @undyrk.bsky.social this morning. Every chapter seems to introduce a fresh pantheon, power set, or jaw‑dropping creature.

I'll be taking a short break before I return for the exciting conclusion!

Now I'm on to Paragon Exordium by @mikelmelwasul.bsky.social.

My TBR is prioritized by people who've sent me physical copies of their books. Because those cost them the most, and I've done that without the results I hoped for. Granted, I'm a ridiculously slow reader.

I haven't checked this app in a month and I have 600+ followers?!?

Did a single audiobook sale make me almost cry today? Maybe.

I'm so overwhelmed.
I feel like I'm losing creativity and intelligence daily.

I have the tools at my fingertips for success, but I'm blocked by circumstance and luck.
I can't sleep because my brain is so stressed. But I can't think.

75% of Sam's story was rehashing his arc from Falcon and Winter Soldier.
Isaiah Bradley was cool.

The visuals were largely mediocre with a few cool shots, and the MANY reshoots that went into this movie were glaringly obvious.

6/10. I probably won't watch it again.

I like Anthony Mackie at, so it's a shame this movie wasn't as good as the previous ones.
The only thing saving it from being BAD is the cast.

How do I get more people to see my book without any money?

Teaching myself to draw every day has been really helpful in grounding myself with the continuous train wreck that's been my life the last few months.

But now both my thumbs are sprained.
So I need to rest them. And not draw for a bit. Or game.

Having to sift through scams while trying to find a job is really taking it out of me. All four interviews I've had for jobs I really want have been scams trying to steal information from me.
Applying and preparing for interviews is exhausting enough.

It's incredibly satisfying to watch a reader realize that your villain is actually smarter than they thought but they were too busy hating them to realize until it was too late.

Last night I received a 12 page breakdown of the board game being built based on my book world.
It's nice to have a project again.

With how dark the other POVs are, but also, the stakes are vastly different. I think it's an incredibly important part of the story that some author beta readers may not get and advise cutting.
But, one of my beta readers is a teen boy who told me he's never related to a character more. It stays.

My second book is with beta readers. There are 4 main POVs, and one in particular we were a little nervous about. That POV is a teenage boy, on a very different journey from the rest of the characters. My hope was that his part of the story would give the readers a chance to breathe, cont...

When publishing my book I wanted something with nice alliteration for my own name which I wanted for privacy and to represent that multiple people it took to make the book beyond myself.
Melwasul is taken from Tolkien's elvish and loosely translates to "Friend of the Wind."

Want your audience to be suspicious of a character? Have character B voice their suspicion of character A, and then have character C brush off that suspicion.

Your audience will IMMEDIATELY relate to this experience and begin suspecting character A.
