Regardless of how the season ends, the case for keeping him on is as weak as can be. It’s not just Slot, his backroom staff just seem incapable.
They’re not focussed and it’s all a bit half arsed. Don’t know who it is that’s taking the warm ups but he doesn’t demand intensity and they’ve all just doing token moves. They’re taking that into games. Klopp marshalled the warm ups whilst observing the opposition. It’s a Complete contrast.
I sit in lower Kenny and noticed it since the start of the season. It explains slow starts, lack of pressing and running out of energy. It’s improved a bit but not enough. Feels like he’s realised to late. The Burnley home game was the best example.
There’s a lack of intensity in Slots management. When warming up at Anfield there’s a marked difference in drill intensity compared to Klopps teams. I don’t think his backroom team are up to it. Add in the Dubai factor last season and long breaks between games. It’s all just too lax
