i also just really appreciate it staying faithful to the game's themes, tone, and visuals while also expanding on and humanizing it in a way that made sense going from a 2nd pov game to a 3rd person movie with a full runtime. i wasn't sure how they could pull that off, but they did.

im still geeking about them taking one of my favorite parts of the game and expanding it into a giant insane sequence like RAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH IT WAS SO COOL

it showed so much restraint with showing stuff, that when they did show anything crazy it hit me like a semi truck

me after watching iron lung

(it was really good and my arm fell asleep for most of the movie because i was so tense and frozen in place lmao)

i know. i fell into that trap with the first overwatch. but when everything was outed with blizzard, i dropped the game cold turkey. i know it can be hard, it's just frustrating seeing people choose video game fomo over real people. :(
