Correct. The re320 is almost a clone of the original re20. Same excellent quality for nearly 2/3 of the price. The original while made with higher quality material is not that much better than this one but it is notable if you’re a sound nerd.

As well it may be more complementary to your vocal range. While the shure is nothing to scoff at the microphones pattern build is more pleasant the deeper the voice meanwhile the EV is excellent for much broader ranges of voice allowing better tuning. I considered it a one and done investment.

Electro voice re20. I have this and the re320 model and both have a fantastic recording quality just with a slight difference in sound quality finish. Unlike the Shure however these microphones are designed to last. It’s the same mic brands used on stages people beat up and throw but be fine.

Sometimes I wish there was someplace I could go for critiques of my art work progress so far. I always want to get better and love hearing from outside eyes on good ideas. I feel like it would help me progress more and feel motivated. Instead I just draw something, scratch head, undo, redraw, bleh.

how it's going mentally

I've been so indecisive lately drawing my design. This is work I did before the events of December.

Hair is something that can always be changed or toggled for but the outfit is much closer to the iconography. I believe I want to go for a pirate aesthetic but I wanna skip out on the hat trope.
