Growing in front of a lichen-covered stick, a slightly bent mushroom grows. Its stipe is smooth and shiny, going from yellownat the bottom to green at the cap. Its cap is a bright green which ranges from light on the left side to dark on the right. Blurred greens and oranges obscure the bottom front of the photo. This mushroom is a about three inches tall.

If only these amazing yellow and green mushrooms (Gliophorus psittacinus) tasted like apple or something... 🍏🍬 Then I'd eat 'em

I got chased by a sandhill crane a few summers ago. They’re very protective of their young. It was the most terrifying experience! Those things are very viscous, lol. I can imagine how scary they’d be at night!
