I think that the "paralysis" is largely propaganda imaging done by legacy media. They're owned by billionaires who are already in with Trump - they've already been suppressing coverage of the massive protests. I believe the reckoning is well on its way right now.

That the Trump Admin and DOJ says that it is going to comply with this court order betrays that Trump/Musk do not believe they themselves have the power to fulfill a coup, otherwise they would just openly refuse to obey the order.
