Okay the colours didn't turn out as dark as I was worried they'd be!! Not bad. My coworkers gave me the tiny ducks and frog hahah. Idk why the paint job isn't like fully solid on the pond plate but I'm guessing I didn't paint enough layers on all those cracks/places where the white shows through?

The right page features photos from the employee retreat where we painted our clay pieces showing the paint/glaze options and my final painted piece pre-firing. Sadly even aside from having my essay due at midnight it was an extremely mundane day for me anyway.

A comic for #hourlycomicday / #hourlycomicsday 2026. 12AM: the first panel shows a clock at 12AM. A figure with "hourly comics day" for their face, wearing a hat and trenchcoat, says "...". The second panel shows me at my computer, with the hourly comics day figure standing aside behind me. My speech bubble reads "hey man, can you wait a couple hours? It's still S-Rank day."

Okay I only got one done today but it's my 10th year doing #hourlycomicday and on my 1st year I also only did 1 so it's fitting 🤣

Only #ff14 players might get it though. (S-rank day happens 2 days after maintenance, all the S rank hunt spawns get reset, so it's a whole day of killing S ranks)

it's hourly comic day but I messed up my sleep schedule, slept in really late and have an essay due tonight so uhhhhhhh.... We'll see how that goes...

So ends my monthly adventure where I come here and spend too much money 🫠 (it's the Muji store's fault)

I like how TTC staff can sense the slightest uncertainty on you and immediately zoom in to provide directional support LOOOL

I wish watch_dogs (and far cry) were in different hands, not because of the devs, but because of the company... but in this current games environment? there are no 'good' game companies I'd even wish them upon lol.

my relationship with ubi as a fan has been soured over the years but there was a part of me that hoped they could eventually completely clean house and reform themselves, because I really liked and believed in some of the games they put out

that's obviously never going to happen now.

I'd pretty much come to the terms that watch_dogs as a franchise was dead and buried since ubi can't milk it the way they can with their GAAS titles and annual asscreeds but... still something poignantly sad about seeing WD missing from the franchise lists they're moving forward with.

Went back to paint & glaze our things today before they're fired in the kiln. I think the green I went with for the lilypads is gonna be too dark (and I'm kinda regretting not glazing that plate too)

The little bowl will be red! I'm excited to see them (assuming they don't explode upon firing)

Posting this guy here to bully myself into working on his route (I think I'll have to designate an actual timeblock each week). I think about his route almost every other day and I've rewritten the intro like 3 times 😩 He's truly the 3 Seasons final boss.
