Maxime Raynuad says that he crossed paths with Nique Clifford during the pre-draft process and that the two had a 45-minute conversation following a workout.

Now, the two are teammates in Sacramento.

Kings GM Scott Perry confirms both Nique Clifford and Maxime Raynaud will play in Las Vegas Summer League.

Jonathan Kuminga comes with risk, but IMO, he fits the bill of the type of player Sacramento should be taking a chance on.

The shot needs work, and I wonder what a potential contract would look like, but a swing worth taking for the Kings.

One thing about Dennis Schroder is that he’s been available night in and night out during his career.

He’s appeared in 60+ games in 11 of his 12 NBA seasons, including 75+ in 6 seasons.

On-court results matter most, but the Kings appear to have found stability at PG.

Two thoughts on the Jonas Valanciunas trade:

1. Sacramento is creating cap flexibility for something... but what?
2. This speaks to how high they must be on Maxime Raynaud, unless a backup big is on the way.

Losing Jake LaRavia definitely stings for Sacramento. Seemed like he enjoyed his time here and playing for Doug Christie.
