Here in the real world, countries exist & therefore have laws that relate to their sovereignty. That's an observation not an argument.

There are exactly 0 countries with no immigration laws & no deportations. So, by your argument, every single country is inhumane -- not just the U.S. If your answer is to get rid of all deportations, so that no country can ever deport anyone, where does that leave national sovereignty?

3/ Of course I want it done humanely. So if we are just talking ethics, we are in agreement. But if you think that, ethically, no countries should ever have immigration laws and its immoral to ever deport anyone, that trends back to anarchy, i.e. not wanting any laws on immigration = a free-for-all.

2/ artificial country borders, or "imaginary lines" as you call them -- basically advocating anarchsim. Not once did I argue for inhumane deportations; but, rather, if we are to have countries at all, & laws at all, enforcing our immigration laws is a part of state sovereignty. . . .
