I’ve only been to 3 Cons in recent years. PAXS 2020, TC 2024 and TC 2025 and seeing @jojosaysbreee.bsky.social is always a constant. It’s always nice to catch up with her. She’s always so nice and just a cool down to Earth person. It was also great meeting her husband. @luckofthelefty.bsky.social

💜Life update. It’s been a heck of a week. Dad is in Rehab for a while from the fractured femur. Been staying with Mom at least every other night. Sister stays the other nights. My back went out then got better but went out again. It’s getting better again but yeah rough 10 days.💜

(4/?) Around the time I was at home maybe (10 mins) my back started seizing up. I made it through work however it got worse and worse and now I can barely walk yesterday and today. Timing could not have been worse for my back to do this. So frustrating. 😤

(3/?) Dad’s pretty grumpy but mostly because he’s missing his late night vodka tonics!

This ⬆️ happened Friday night. I stayed with Mom both Friday and Saturday night the got up Sunday to quickly go home and get some work clothes and go right to work.

(2/?) Needless to say, dad has probably bought himself some time in the slammer (aka rehab facility) for the next few weeks. Thanks to all my family and friends who have been there to support us! Prayers needed for a speedy recovery.

(1/?) Life update: Dad took a fall last night and had to take an unsatisfactory ride in an ambulance that refused to put Vodka Tonics in his IV. Still, he made it to the hospital and we were told he has a hairline fracture in his upper femur causing him much pain to his right hip.

Been busy this summer so have had little time to take some great pics but here is a couple while at work. The weather has been brutal. 75F to 63F every day (24C-17C) for the rest of you. I don’t know how we survive this. 😜

I can’t say much of what goes wrong at work. I could write a book on the wild stuff I’ve seen over the years. This one is new… a train comes through and says there is a loose dog running around with no owner. 🤔 Someone left their dog on the train. How does this even happen? SMH
