19 days ago I made a post about my struggle with depression. Today I had my 1st therapy session. I cried to another grown man and to be quite honest, it felt so damn good to hear someone tell me that “it’s okay”. We really need to end the stigma associated with mental health and men crying.

Depression is real. It can literally control your life. I’ve been struggling a lot lately. Life is overwhelming as hell. Adulting is overwhelming as hell. I’m not suicidal, at all actually, but damnit I need a reminder that everything will get better. How do I find that spark again? 😢
I would relay that to him, if you haven’t already. The world is crazy right now. It’s easy to get emotionally disconnected and forget about others needs when you’re in the dating scene.
You definitely deserve someone that will be emotionally available, though. It’s important for all of us!
I’m not surprised, I’ve been to Miami a couple times. Real men pop up when you least expect it, sometimes it’s easier not look for a solid partner because we tend to lower our standards and settle for less than what we deserve. He’ll come to you!
