Another shut eye drawing, this time of two tennis players with a net between them. It's more abstract than the two previous images with little detail. The player on the left of the image is about to serve the ball to the second player. It is titled "Tennis" and signed "Moore"

You can make some shut-eye drawings of your own at our activity table over the next two weekends. Catch some Wimbledon matches on the screen in the visitor centre and see if you can capture the players on paper, just like Moore did.

Another line drawing of a tennis player wielding a racket. It's a semi-abstract drawing made using a shut-eye drawing technique. There's a handwritten title "Wimbledon" in the bottom corner and it's signed "Moore"

Fun fact: Did you know that Henry Moore was a life-long tennis fan?

Having played in local doubles competitions in his youth, he loved to keep up with the sport and was particularly keen on #Wimbledon.
