I try to preach the opposite of imposter syndrome to creative people. Know that you are literally the only person on the planet equipped to tell the very specific stories you have to tell in the way only you can tell them.

Image shows an old car against a wall full of Arabic graffiti; on top of the car’s trunk are piled loaves of bread (a sacred food across the Arab world).

The text reads β€œwe may be scattered across cities and shores, but our hearts still beat in rhythm. I do know that.”

I think @micahflee.com and @eff.org have published some good overviews on automotive privacy β€” it's basically a pretty hopeless situation for all but the most dedicated and paranoid folks.

The thing about TPMS identifiers is they can enable tracking of older cars and trucks, even antiques.

Vehicle Tire Pressure Sensors Enable Silent Tracking Like many other features and systems in modern cars, tire pressure sensors leak sensitive data that can be abused by threat actors.

Security researchers have revealed that signals from tire pressure monitoring systems (TPMSs), required in U.S. cars since 2007, can be used to track vehicles from 40-50 meters away using devices costing $100.

TPMSs send a unique sensor identifier that never changes during the lifetime of the tire.

In this 13-panel strip, Nemo and his companion are exploring the North Pole. They ascend a circular staircase that has icicles hanging off of it, which leads to several large faucets. Two of them blast water, which is then turned to snow by two others that blast cold. They rush down the staircase to avoid getting frozen, but just has it looks like they won't make it, Nemo is woken up from his dream.

I go on a lot of solo hikes. I can attest to hiking and coming across random crying women on the trail. I have absolutely had to help women who were abandoned find their way back to the start. I even give one woman a ride into town, because the guy that left her was her ride.
