There is a maximum amount of time each day you're supposed to focus on the world's problems instead of your own, after which you have a legitimate need for therapy on your thought processes being self-destructive. At some point you have to stop scrubbing your hands you are bleeding into the sink.

Haha, I have no idea, but I imagine Plato may have had thoughts on ISRU in regards to what constitutes a healthy civilization, keeping track of it's resources and balancing the needs of the people

I'd love to see ISRU be a core focus since Martian students will live next to the machines that build everything directly from the soil & air on Mars- instead of life on Earth where a nebulous 'supply chain' provides everything.

Looking through the @thesiltverses.bsky.social Q&A transcript for the title of something I want to check out, I snorted at the unintentional tonal whiplash of this segue. I can’t even claim the comedic timing, it didn’t even register in the moment because that was *hand wave* all of it.

My Co-founder Josh Weinsch took this photo of his little daughter’s bike, which was in their driveway when they evacuated. Their neighborhood was vaporized.

It has saved us tens of thousands of dollars and countless headaches when dealing with companies who are entirely focused on taking advantage of people at their most vulnerable.

Last year my childhood home was gutted by fire. I've been helping my mother recover since then. One thing I learned is that many companies will take 3D scans of the aftermath of a fire.

If your house was damaged & a 3D scan was taken then get it. Seriously. Get it.
