Once again Pol Pot is an interesting yet awful human being. I'm convinced he hated everyone. That's one way of ensuring that everyone's equal, if everybody sucks and they're all dead. He killed so many of his own population in 4 years that even similar leaders thought he was going too far.

But maybe, just maybe I have to grow up. My brain is still in "chlid mode." I don't know shit about adulthood or the real world. And I'm 26 fucking years old. Jesus Christ.

I haven't developed my skills for adulthood as much as I should have for lots of reasons. She is the person I go to to help me with that. I act like it will last forever, but that's not going to be the case unfortunately. I worry I don't be able to fully break inertia without her.

She is representative of the innocence and joy I associate with my childhood, once that's gone, I will be frightened by the shitty world of adulthood. I'm crying right now because of this. She is the only person in my life who can comfort me and convince me that things will be okay.

Tonight is one of those nights where I'm thinking about this, "What am I going to do without my Mom around?" Nothing happened to her, but I'm just thinking about what will happen when she passes away one day. I rely on her for so much that it will be very difficult without her.
