One of my favorite games from my childhood is Little Ninja Brothers. A lot of NES games from that era were "cleaned up" for American families or just had bad translations. Sometimes it's worth playing the Japanese version if there's something you don't understand, or seems intentionally vague.

The official Nintendo players guides were always a good bet. They had the most useful information. Nintendo probably got it straight from the devs.

Some of the 3rd party books had COOL cover art, but sadly, not a whole lot of useful info. Having the game manuals would have done just as well.

I made these years ago but never had a place to put them until I made my Bluesky account. These are item charts for old RPGs. For most of them, the item quantity shows the hex value for each item. I intended these to be reference materials for when i'm using a hex editor to add or remove things.

I have to assume Tengen completed the box art for these games and made some demo boxes long before they were ready to ship. Xybots works okay but Hard Drivin' wasn't even close to being finished yet and it shows badly in the leaked ROM.
