It's very funny because it's a negative feedback loop since it's entertainment. Twitch not counting viewers makes you miserable. No one wants to watch miserable people so the actual viewer number behind the miscalculated one goes down as well! Fun for the whole family

It's insane and this is just the newest case. I've been complaining to Twitch for years about this. "I'm talking to 4 people who I know in chat and you count 1 viewer" "Oh they might be using popout chat and not actually watch the stream" "They reply to my VOICE from stream in chat!" No reply
