So I've become super hooked on Rune Factory: Guardians of Azuma. I've never gotten into the series before but this game is hitting just right with me.

I am once again begging developers to stop abusing the monorepo pattern.

I get emails from recruiters quite a bit and it seems every one is for some hot new AI startup that's going to change the world.

I bought an STL of the fox mask from Silent Hill f, printed it, airbrushed and dry brushed it and I think it came out really well.

Well deserved. The writing in this game is absolutely brilliant.

Silent Hill f is a master class in writing. A game this terrifying and yet thoughtful and moving is definitely a strong contender for GotY for me.

I'm the same way. I immediately thought of Turner & Hooch when I read this.

Dandadan season 2 is another perfect 5/7.

Komi is in bed with the sheets pulled up to her forehead. The room is dark. The subtitle says "People with social anxiety tend to do this."

Komi's eyes peek out from the sheets. She looks very anxious. The subtitle says "They tend to overanalyze things they say and do"

The subtitle has changed to say "which keeps them up at night." There is a white box pointing to her with japanese text that translates to "can't sleep"

I couldn't sleep last night due to anxiety so I started watching Komi Can't Communicate which is a comfort show.

It just happened to be this episode.

People being fired and replaced by AI reminds me of when big companies fired senior people to be replaced by people fresh out of college and we know how well that went for them.

So many nights I just wonder what would happen if I just stayed up gaming all night and then I remember that I'm old now and that would totally wreck me.

Still want to do it though.
