First draft of my #WIP is done! It needs A LOT of work, but the structure, threads, and plot seem solid. Gonna let this marinate for a couple weeks and then rock out the second draft! #amwriting
Um. THE LAST OF US, SEASON 2, Episode 2….2 lackluster episodes and that’s what happens?!?! Yikes. I don’t know if I’ll continue. Nothing so far has felt earned and this seemed rushed and stupid.
Today turned into the heaviest writing day of my current WIP. It was the part of the book where most of the threads I’ve been setting up all converge. My brain is spent but I feel so good. 😬😜😀 #amwriting
Aiming to have my second draft of my debut WIP novel in about a month, or two. Wrapping up the first draft by the end of next week and will let it sit for a while before I revisit. Then I’ll open it up and mark it up and get going on draft 2. I never thought I’d even get the first draft done!!
This book and another Sci-fi book I’m slowly planning both came out of therapy. Both ideas hit me around the same time. I’ll talk about that more when they are out in the wild within the next year or so…
Enjoying the process. I chip away here and there. I’ll make sure plenty of people read it and it goes to an editor before I finalize it and publish it. I’m hoping I can talk Mike Watt into editing it…..
On top of everything I’m doing, of course I decide to write a book. An erotic noire thriller set in 1970s NYC.
It’s been about 2 months for this one and I just crossed Chapter 6 out of 18 planned chapters. Act I officially has a first draft.

This was the largest political gathering in Denver since Obama in 2008.
Also bigger than the 2024 DNC.
And the largest ever rally in Bernie’s career (and obviously, mine too).
I listened to some episodes of Jon Bernthal's podcast a few years ago and he really gets what it means to promote healthy masculinity. Protecting people because it's what is right. He's got a good moral compass.
