As a general rule I don't talk on this account because it would genuinely drive me crazy. I do my best to do right by my patients because that's the type of damage I can control and actually have a say over. But I just can't keep my head down about this

I already felt doomed enough considering i been working in a hospital when the pandemic started and throughout its height but wow i really do feel like im seeing the fall of modern medicine and public health before my eyes and i genuinely dont know what to do

It is actually crazy that conservative government officials get to say blatant and easily disprovable medical misinformation in very public and official announcements with no recourse and seemingly no one in the same room with the balls to call them out on their lies.
