I attended a talk by a scientist at a Chinese University and realized that all the background climate data that she used came from the US (COโ Keeling Curve, global temperature time series, etc.). Although China funds a lot of research, the destruction of US science will affect science globally.

Showed the kids THE ADVENTURES OF TINTIN as our Sunday movie (and their first Spielberg flick) and my Tintin-fan daughter went absolutely insane for it. Literally jumping up and down and standing ten inches from the TV stuff.
