an obstacle less technical people maybe get stuck at is "it shouldn't work" so they won't try it, but domain experts know it's all so absurdly stupid, stuff works even if rationally it shouldn't
I suspect this is the underlying root of IT having to tell everyone to, really, turn it off and on again
me every time an image, audio, or video format is too corrupted to use as intended so you open it with something else then re-save it in the exact same format after which it works just fine and I have the technical understanding to know why it works but that doesn't make it any less funny every time
