I was lucky enough to work with Alan, he was one of the very best and someone you always wanted to do great work for…his support and approval meant something special to all those lucky enough to get to know him.
Fantastic to see STV Studios delivering so well in turbulent times. Thanks as ever should go to the amazing group of freelancers we worked with across the year, without whom we wouldn’t be able to make any of our shows.

So proud of all our STV Studios nominations! Blue Lights from Two Cities gets the nod for Best Drama Series, Primal Media’s The Underdog: Josh Must Win is up for Best Multichannel Programme, with STVS’ shows dominating Best Original Programme - Joe Lycett vs. Sewage, The Assembly and The Underdog.
An important point here from @lewisgoodall.com. It’s important to realise that the Trump bandwagon wasn’t unstoppable. It can be equally true that his win was impressive, terrifying but nevertheless totally avoidable. Did America let democracy down or did the Democrats let America down…discuss.
