I can't be doing with holding #SNX through a 3rd dip or watching it slide further in this month's market chaos. Being cynical is working well in March's Stock challenge.
#KLR Keller strong results under the new CEO, a lt hold. As at year end, #SNX results have hit my pf again - I've lost patience & sold. Also gone is #NCC, the last of my ill-fated cyber bets. Finally, #MKS is a goner too in current market uncertainty. Hope to buy back cheaper. Cash #1 for now.

Excellent update and it's now comfortably my #1 holding. Just edging up to 20% of my ISA and a 100% gain on my 2704p avg. A high-quality, well-managed company that seems to get keep getting better 🥇

Kitchen/bathroom supplier Norcros came up on a Momentum Screener I have on Simply Wall Street - early days but there's a lot to like on their recent numbers (Nov interims attached).

Gold 🥇:
Late to the party but as a hedge in these politically volatile times I've recently bought an iShares Physical Gold ETF #SGLN. I like the fact I'm not dependent on the lumpiness and risk of an actual mining company.
Negatives:
I continue to baffle myself with my long-term #SOS investment but I would feel aggrieved if I left now & they were bought out. The news has been slightly more upbeat recently.
The aforementioned #SNX has also been hit seemingly harshly of late but holding on for now.
So-so's:
#MKS had a poor year and their well-publicised cyber-incident sent me off on a series of investments in cybersecurity firms (#IGP, #GBG etc). Fair to say that idea didn't really take off so gradually backed out of those.
Positives:
Construction (#MGNS, #KLR), and Professional Services (#MHA) were winners while I'm hopeful for #ELIX long-term.

Here's a rather late review of my 2025 ISA performance, an update on Jan, a new stock & a first dip into commodities.
2025 delivered a loss of 1.2% (with a lot of damage done by a 20%+ drop in #SNX in mid-Dec). Clearly not a disaster but disappointing after a 38% gain in 2024.
