Lambhay Hill in Plymouth is close to the area of The Hoe, where there are quite a lot of great trees, including this one (a lime, I think)

I’ve really enjoyed drawing the overall leaf shape of this one. So I’ll be on the look out for more.

This morning's rose from our garden

A Snowy Egret, in calm water, a few ripples around its legs, a yellow foot visible through the blue water and a rock just behind it. The bird is a medium sized, all-white bird with black bill and yellow eye and yellow from eye to bill. Bright evening sun, some reflections of the ripples on the front of the bird giving it a contoured pattern.
