If you only read the opinion journalism in elite media over the last decade, you would have been convinced that wokeness, and not fascism, were the greatest threats to American society. Now some of those authors are retconning by trying to relabel fascism as "the woke right."

Conservatives usually strongly defend the 2nd amendment, and we'll see how many of them are willing to defend their supposed principles now with Trump attacking it.

I remember how strongly Israel denied bombing that hospital, then proceeded to bomb every other hospital in Gaza as well.

They continue to kill Palestinian civilians without consequence.

The Canadian Prime Minister stood up more strongly for "American values" than most of America's national political figures.

Trump's Gestapo murdered a white woman on video, told everyone their eyes were lying to them, and then proved that there's no consequences they would face for it.

After that, they have almost nothing to fear anymore.

There's so much wrong in this video, even beyond the unjustifiable execution.

The system isn't designed to counter a malevolent federal government.

The most prominent platforms are often filled with people who would look intelligent if only they stayed quiet, rather than speaking and proving themselves to be fools.

It really bothers me that people like this, with a clear unwillingness to read even basic documented history, get to have large platforms that influence the thoughts of millions.

A lot to explain in text, but:

1...Rb2 (attacks the bishop, which is pinned and can't move)
2. Rc2 (best looking way to block the attack)
2...Rxc5! (Now the Queen is skewered)
3. Rxb2 Qxb2 and there are attacks on both the Queen and the bishop that can't both be defended

To suggest that people need dictators is to imply that the people need less freedom.

Trump is the opposite of the claimed ideals America was founded on.

The incredible ability of people in power to disable their critical thinking skills remains unmatched.

There's a legitimate risk of a world war if Trump isn't contained.

I struggle to think of even one Reactionary Centrist who doesn't regularly fit this pattern.

The only grace I can grant: maybe we apply that label to the people who do exactly this, rather than it being a self-labeled group that then ends up acting this way.

This group has to be able to prove themselves getting these minutes. They are a strong bunch, so no excuses.

Post the feudal age, the societal bargain was that the highest of the upper classes got to enjoy the benefits of great wealth, so long as the lower classes still felt their lives improving.

The biggest benefit to the upper classes has been safety from the masses. That bargain is weakening today.
