2/2: On Election Night, the first sign, was that MSNBC called the deep red states, but did not call deep blue states like IL, NJ, CT, RI, etc... Then the exit polls came out...... and our tv went off at 11 p.m. CDT .... we knew our nightmare was coming true....

1/1: The reputable polls were never good for us and Biden/Harris had a 38% Approval Rating...... I knew that Trump was going to win..... it was like the entire world was conspiring to get that man elected.

Worthless Hakeem Jeffries and No-Good Chuck Schumer should have stepped down after the Election WITHOUT being asked. Two of the most worthless "leaders" in my lifetime of the Democratic Party.

Careful, people like Stephanie Miller will jump all over you for raising your voice to a Democrat. Especially if that Democrat is of color.

We are going to need all the miracles we can get in the 2026 Midterm General Election! I wish they would just run one more term because it's easier to re-elect an incumbent vs. a new person.

Good point, but I just don't think it had much effect because of the margin Musk/Trump won in those cities/counties. NBC Exit polls pretty much lined up with the results in those swing states. Latino vote, Asian vote, and young people vote numbers were terrible for us. We have to get them back.

I read that the bomb threats had "limited" effect on voting. In Fulton County, GA, Harris ended up receiving more votes than Biden in 2020. The places that had bomb threats only reported "a few" people in line leaving and not voting. It would not have made a difference - especially in sunbelt.

Do you want to go back to a time before Doppler radar? The Tornado Warning lead time decreased dramatically when doppler went nationwide during the 1990s.
As weather technology advances, so will the accuracy of forecasting and the crucial timeliness of Warnings issued to the public.

The TV weatherman does not issue official warnings. National Weather Services are 24/7. They not only do forecasting, but there is hydrology, fire weather, tropical/hurricanes, you name it. I can't imagine any cuts would be any good.

Your local National Weather Service is the one who issues the severe weather WARNINGS that you see on tv, hear on the radio, and see/hear on the Internet. They also have storm spotters.

Also - your local National Weather Service operates 24/7....they are the ones who issue the weather warnings that are broadcasted on tv, radio, Internet, etc.... One office forecasts upcoming severe weather potential and issues the severe weather watches. A VERY VITAL SOURCE!!!

I think former Secretary Clinton has been making rounds on the x/twitter machine that got Mr. Duffy all upset....

Let's not forget that during Republican National Conventions, the usage of the gay dating app, "Grindr" is so high it has to shut down and restart itself! In fact, I read somewhere that the usage of such app is a lot higher when compared to the Democratic National Conventions..............

Yep, that is why I voted for Clinton in 2016 and Harris in 2024 because I do not like women who speak up. If I thought VP Trump and POTUS Musk were "nicer" and I agreed with them, they would have received my vote, but that is NOT the case. I voted for Harris. You have BIGG chip on your shoulder.

What state do you live in? You might want to double check that because last I checked, some states haven't banned it completely. How are you? Does that issue really affect you? For the record, I support women's bodily autonomy.

Woman, what is your deal??? Maybe this is partly why Democratic Registrations in important states have dropped and continue to drop.... Of course I voted for Harris! I also like drinking 1 cup of hot tea in the morning with 4 BIG spoonfuls of sugar - while my wife reminds me of how unhealthy it is.
