I love the idea that *this* US government, which has been nabbing landscapers and five year olds knows where Iranian sleeper cells are but just hasn’t gotten around to doing anything about it yet.
As millions of Americans were losing their SNAP benefits the Pentagon spent:
🔹️$6.9 million worth of lobster tails🦞
🔹️$15.1 million for ribeye steak 🥩
🔹️$2 million for Alaskan king crab 🦀
🔹️ and even $98,329 on a Steinway & Sons grand piano

I also wrote this for @damemagazine.bsky.social!
Thanks! I will check out his stream!
Does he stream on twitch? I am okay with spoilers as I won’t get to it for a bit and would check out his stream
The first time I saw Big Nick in Chicago we chanted Dan Bongino to call him back for an encore. Very happy with the amount of parody in both shows I’ve been to.
The Pedestrian marks game number 7 of the year. This was a delightful puzzle game that added new elements as you progress in all of the right ways.

Tales Noir is the sixth game I beat this year. I enjoyed Acts 1-3 and then it took an odd turn and ended without resolution. Not one I would recommend.
The face of the NBA being a Woke French Space Alien that trains with Shaolin Monks in the off-season and throws up the Horns is totally fucking awesome
Huh. SHHHHH don't tell the rest of the team, but I just added 3 slots for a developmental editing session (comics or prose) with me. I almost never take on new clients these days, but for this...
Normalize laughing derisively in men's faces when they deserve it.
Game five of the year was Indika. I loved the retro flashbacks and enjoyed it overall, but wished there were more unique puzzles. It is a lovely and surreal game.
Backed this today and cannot wait to read this one.

Per my son’s request, I finally played Subliminal. It was a fun Portal-Lite game that had some frustrating controls on console, but was overall a good time.
This is your regular reminder that in the year 2000, Paul Rudd, with frosted tips, appeared in the Hong Kong film GEN-Y COPS as a bad guy (kinda). In the movie, he does martial arts, fights a robot, and, most shocking of all, does an entire scene in Cantonese.
Game number 3 down. A short, but fun romp through Thank Goodness You’re Here. An Untitled Goose Game-ish journey through a small British town with mature humor.
Again it’s important to remember the context of these chats is that a woman was shot five times in her car as she was attempting to donate clothes at a church.
Amber Glenn won Olympic gold on Sunday. That same day, she left social media because of death threats. Her offense: she'd told reporters the queer community is going through "a hard time." The headline called it "backlash." www.readtpa.com/p/the-thresh...
