Kind of funny that today of all days someone decides to revive the bs "bluesky isn't relevant" thing and then tonight John Oliver completely cooks what a cesspool Twitter has become and why people need to get off now.

Bluesky functions as heir to the 2002-2009 progressive blogosphere. It's more cohesive, more effective and more fun than X's hive of scum and villainy.

It also makes many X users apoplecticly angry that we're all happy with this arrangement and I love that for them.

This is exactly right. The Onion quietly left Twitter a month ago and... our weekly subscribers went up. It's because we're doing well here, on Instagram and on YouTube.

As a business, being on Twitter is somewhere between useless or detrimental, unless you're selling boner pills.
