42. Epic
Wow I was so blown away. This might be like 3rd or 4th best thing I've seen this year. Insanely good songs all throughout. Seriously these will be stuck in my head for months. A gripping plot with so many moments that I was not ready for. I ain't a musical person but I highly recommend it.

41. WAL-E
An amazing revisit. Loved it just as much as I remembered it as a kid. It's held up flawlessly with so much charm and heart that I can never be matched. A classic that will live on forever. Favorite pixar movie.

40. The Hundred Line: Last Defense Academy
I think in terms of new media I experienced this year, this is second place for me. It eventually grew on me with the themes and characters. An unforgettable experience I adore to no end, I see all the effort here. I'll do the 99 other endings later...

39. Ratatouille
A really funny but charming movie that was a great to revisit again after so long. I do not remember the jokes being this unhinged and the villain is just insane in the best way possible. An excellent watch all around.

38. Superman 2025
This was a really fun movie. It captured everything great about superman, lex was such a delight for how much of a hater he was, the rest of the cast were all really memorable. My only hang up is it's way to overstuffed, felt like a 3rd movie rather than the first. Still great.

37. Incredibles 2
I was really curious what I'd take out of this movie considering the mixed reception. Honestly I really enjoyed for the most part. Still was really funny and took an interesting direction for the main duo. The villain was easily the weakest part though lol. Really fun movie.

36. Incredibles
This is a really mature movie from Pixar than I remembered. It was super engaging through, incredibly funny and really exciting to watch with the action set pieces and an amazing villain. Super high tier amongst the pixar movies.

35. Monsters Inc.
Fun movie I haven't seen since I was eight. Really funny and a likeable duo with a nice resolution by the end. Also I was caught off guard by the intro theme music 😭.

34. Deltarune Chapter 3 and 4
My favorite media of the year? No
My favorite media in general.

33. Over the Garden Wall
A surreal yet feel good series with so much charm and imagination. Its a really short but sweet show with a lot of heart to it. It's a quick watch and I'd highly recommend it, especially during the fall season.

32. Afro Samurai Resurrection
A follow up and conclusion to Afro Samurai's story. It follows the same messages it lays out and expands on it. Bringing it all to a close in a way that fits the story. Probably like it more than the anime. A short but interesting series that I dived into.

31. Afro Samurai Anime
A very short but interesting take on the revenge tale of Samurai and the consequences of it. Also has a lot of style to it and very intense moments. Not a major standout to me personally but it was a very cool take on that aspect.

30. Encanto
Such a warm and heartfelt movie. It has so much care and passion for what it's going for and I enjoyed it quite thoroughly.

29. Promare
This was a fun as hell movie. Animation was insane and a non stop thrill ride with an amazing duo protagonists of clashing ideals and strong themes. Climax is peak as well, what a rush of pure hype and aura.

28. Ghost Trick
An excellent mystery puzzle game. I'll admit I sucked at times and it was struggle to get through some of these segments but it was worth it for such an engaging story and cast of characters. Some of these reveals were some of the most surprising to me in any of these mystery games.

27. Ralph Breaks the Internet
I hated it. I hated every line, character and scene. The plot sucks and nothing was funny or creative. It's an assassination of the 1st one in every regard and a waste of time. A 1/10, least favorite movie I've seen. Went in expecting garbage and was still let down.

26. Wreck it Ralph (Rewatch)
Man I love this movie. I enjoyed when I was young and still enjoy it even now. A likeable cast, fun story and great set pieces keep this as one of my favorite Disney movies. Still an absolute banger.

25. Indie Cross Episode 2
I loved this so much. Every scene, every background detail, and the writing here I also adore. I can feel the passion for every game and bringing them all together for this. Also the animation is incredible, man is insane. Please check this out.

24. The Gaslight District (Pilot)
This was a great first pilot. So much style and substance and the animation good lord. Hope this gets the chance to be a full series because the vision on display here is out of this world.

23. Bolt
First 15 minutes was fun and the scenes with the animals where they don't talk were cool. Everything else was boring. I could not care nor was it funny that often and I could tell where it was going immediately. I only remembered the intro as a kid and it shows why.

22. Meet the Robinsons
This was great. Obv animation a tad dated but there's so much positive energy and charm to this movie that's just hard to ignore. Message is a bit hammered in but it has a good heart. Also the way the main threat is beaten is on of the hardest villain defeats in anything.

It was uh... well i can say it was something I've never seen before and it sure was something out of my realm of usual viewing. Yeahhhhhhh I'm struggling to "describe this" if you know you know.

19. Treasure Planet
This was def the best of the 2D animated movies I watched during this binge. Most engaging story of the bunch, amazing character designs and the cast is super strong. Great film all around.

Top 1 media of the year lol this is never gonna topped until like YTTD or Deltarune. In terms of media that isn't repeated this is big one for me. Won't say much but if you love a good story or indie games play it now. This will stick with me for a good long time.

17. Ne Zha 2
It damn well earned that highest grossing animated movie title bc my god was that experience was unreal. I couldn't believe what I was seeing and I'm debating if it should be my top spot for media this year. A must see in theaters and an amazing sequel.

16. Ne Zha
Good movie. Never heard of it before but was a fun watch. Main character was a great protag, fights were great. Felt mostly familiar to other typical kid animated movies in this style with a bit of an edge and some unique elements.

15. Invincible Season 3
Fantastic season that ramps up the action, tension and drama. It was getting pretty crazy and just never let up, excited to where it'll go from here.

14. Dandadan Season 1
This was a neat watch. I won't lie the junk stuff was very grading lol. Other than that it's cool. I think the characters are fun, esp momo and well... episode 7 insured me to stick with this anime. I imagine it will expand a lot more as it goes on and I'm curious on it will go
