62. The Fantastic Four: First Steps

Love the characters and the family dynamic. Between this and Thunderbolts, I think it's been a pretty solid year for the MCU. Not sure how Brave New World compares but I can't say I'm interested in finding out. 8/10

61. The Naked Gun

Lost me a little when they tried to take it more seriously. When they leaned into the funnies, it was the most I laughed in the cinema in a long time. 8/10

60. Naked Gun 33⅓: The Final Insult

A decent comedy that offers me significantly less than either of its predecessors. 6/10, no doubt in my mind the new one is going to be better.

Audio editing is done for the Gravity Falls ranking and it's hovering at around an hour runtime right now. Now we see if I can get that all edited in 10 days with the limited time I have on my hands.

59. The Naked Gun 2½: The Smell of Fear

Not as funny as the first one, but still pretty funny. The dance scene was kinda peak. 7/10

Played at a family games night and it was a good bit of fun. No idea how to score a tabletop game so I'm just not gonna.

57. The Naked Gun: From the files of Police Squad!

A movie so funny it makes me want to start taking driving lessons again despite already having my licence so that I can merge without looking. 9/10

56. Thunderball

Actually pretty good for most of the runtime aside from the flaws you'd expect from a 60s Bond movie. It's dragged down for me though by a really slow and at times nearly impossible to follow climax. I felt bad for the sharks. Feeling a 6/10 for now, we'll see how that holds up.

Just finished recording my Gravity Falls episode ranking. The goal is to get it done before I go on holiday on August 10th so that I can publish it as soon as my plane touches down. I’ve got a busy few weeks ahead of me.

55. Goldfinger

That Oddjob guy sure was fun. I've just had the very unique idea to make a list of the top 10 most overpowered characters in video game history and mention his appearance in the Goldeneye N64 game. 8/10

54. From Russia with Love

Between a 6 or 7/10 for this one. I enjoyed myself overall, the later portions definitely pick up a lot of steam, but it didn't start to grab me until past the 40 minute mark and just made me wish I was watching Dr No instead at several points.

53. My Adventures with Superman Season 2

The premiere is already leaps and bounds ahead of anything in season 1 and then it just keeps putting out banger episodes. Kara might be my favourite character in the show, her date with Jimmy was adorable. 9/10

52. Superman (2025)

Endeared me to this cinematic universe already. Very much looking forward to seeing where they go from here. 9/10

51. Thunderbolts*

Pretty funny, themes of mental health that result in some solid emotional moments, a few pretty cool fight scenes, it hit most of the beats I wanted. Not top tier MCU for me but definitely a solid watch that I'd recommend. 8/10

50. Superman (1978)

Takes a bit to get going but I really loved it after the obligatory origin stuff got over and done with. Got so many laughs from Lex, his bumbling henchmen and the general campy yet still sincere tone and one liners. The best parts are just getting to see Clark save people. 8/10

49. My Adventures with Superman Season 1

Very nice, very charming, great casting. Has some tedious dramatic beats and would've probably benefitted from being a bit longer. Overall still solid, I had a good time. 7/10

48. Dr. No

Decided I want to marathon all the James Bond movies to make a video about them, having only previously seen Spectre a decade ago. This one is a solid start to the series, but there is a lot of room left for future entries to top it. 7/10

I watched it subbed, same with the other film and the show.

47. Gurren Lagann the Movie - The Lights in the Sky Are Stars

Really good by virtue of being post-timeskip Gurren Lagann and has some great new additions. But the overall package is a huge net negative with the amount of things they have to trim down and alter to be worse. Just watch the show. 7/10

46. Tom and Jerry: The Movie

Has some ironically funny bits that my friends and I could have a laugh at and the backgrounds are quite nice. Aside from those I think I got more sincere enjoyment from the Minecraft Movie. 2/10 grand a day.

45. My Neighbours the Yamadas

Cute, very fun, lovely art style, a great slice of life film to watch to unwind. 8/10
