We are making some strides in how people talk to people with mental illness. For example, it seems people have replaced the question "Have you tried yoga?" with "Have you tried psychedelic mushrooms?" That's progress.

I'm not sure what contest I think I'm winning with mother nature by refusing to keep an umbrella in my car, but I'm starting to reevaluate this plan.

Today is World Mental Health Day. May you know you are worthy of getting whatever help you need and may we live in a world that makes that help accessible and affordable.

Also, while I have you here: Please stop calling school shooters mentally ill. Call them super fucked up because:
1. We don't know their mental health diagnosis
2. The fact that the term school shooter even exists and is so commonplace in the U.S., is super fucked up.

Please stop calling Trump a mental patient. Mental patients are people who are actually getting help for their mental illness.
