I'd wonder the same. The poor tree has seen much better days.
There's a reason Cisco was known as liquid crack. I used to drink two bottles of the orange flavor and it was game over. Dumb shit to do.
Fucking sucks.
The dead tree almost looked like it was informing you that you are #1.
I'm happy you stayed dry. Nice pic though.
I went to some country concert last summer with my wife, best friend and his wife. The girls were excited about the show. We went, and also left two songs into the headliner's set. Worst concert ever.
You and me both. I miss the 80s even more. The days of drinking Zima and Cisco are long gone.
I used to work for 6 years in Mt Albion cemetery. I saw all sorts of illegal activities. People do get robbed in Mt Hope as it is in the city of Rochester. Mt Albion did have someone dumped in the trunk of a stolen car from Rochester. I'd still hangout in cemeteries. The people there don't talk lol.
I'd DM you one time tested classic joke for next Friday so that'll help extend your nap time.
1997. I was 23, and being a human waste. I'd party most under the table every night and do it again weeks on end.
Mount Hope is a beautiful cemetery. It too was created as an arboretum. I believe Mount Hope inspired Mount Albion as it's 5 years older than Mount Albion. I just feel safer in Mt Albion than I do Mt Hope.
Still sounding more attractive than my current situation.
I was thinking I'd save $9500 just by moving in with you lol
Present me with the same offer and I'll be moved by Monday lol.
I'm happy for your parents to have the opportunity. I wish the hell my mom would snowbird. Her nephew lives in Florida, she quit going because when he was home, he only allowed Fox TV.
I'm failing to recall a blue sky here
Rope and gravity are cheaper than a guillotine.
Why is the sky the color of water? Are blue skies normal lol?
I'm sorry Libby, that's awful.
So do I. If that one comes down and it's night time, I'm a goner. I was told I could pay $3k out of pocket to have it removed. Uh no, it's the housing community's responsibility. Cheap asses.
This is depressing
Forest Lawn was patterned after Mt Albion. Both were created as arboretums as well as final resting places. Mt Albion lacks the celebrities that Forest Lawn possesses and is only 100 acres.
Are you serious? Nevermind, the snow is falling here too.
Ugh...again???
I foolishly went walking this morning at Mount Albion cemetery. I am frozen and desperately need coffee to defrost. I did one lap around the perimeter, which equals a mile. A beautiful cemetery, the terraced hills were dug by hand in the 1840s.
Gross, a new roof. That's big bucks these days with the prices as insane as they are. I'd hate to think about the home owners insurance rate afterwards if you file a claim. Yikes! Best of luck.
Unfortunately, these wastes of humanity are allowed to write on most platforms and are all over every form of social media as well. I don't like it either. Money is more important than morals and decency. I'm just kindly passing on a friendly pointer to @madamegothica.bsky.social.
Substack.
I'll probably regret it from my back tightening up walking up and down the hills, but whatever. I can't stand sitting around the house.
Blogs, independent journalists, columns...yes, they're still in existence.
I'm foolishly thinking about layering up and going for a walk. Who knows when I'll get that opportunity again? Mount Albion cemetery sounds like a good idea this morning as does it sound foolish.
