"Mm, well, if you could at least help me down to the kitchen, General," he said, offering her his hand, "I'd rather not trip down the stairs and break my neck."

"Hm, I might be blind but I'm not completely helpless," he admitted, feeling for his bathrobe. It was where he left it so he removed it from it's hook and put it on.

He tried to resist a yawn and a shiver but was only half successful. He sniffled.

He jumped a bit at the sound of her voice, not expecting her to be in his room.

"Ah, General!" he said, his hand rising to his heart, "Heh, you scared me, but what do you mean stay in bed? I need to make breakfast."

He sort of pouted, he really did enjoy cooking, especially for Feixiao and Moze.

"Hm... I wonder if seeing-eye tuskpirs are a thing..."

"So excluding accidents and the like... Mm, I'll probably live another 50 to 100 years, give or take. Why?"

After everything he'd been through, he was actually surprised he was still alive.

"Well, foxians can live anywhere between 250 to 450 years, though the median age is about 300 years," he admitted, crossing his arms as he calculated in his head,

Jiaoqiu could tell that Gallagher was eating louder for his sake and he appreciated it. It was nice to know that the man was actually eating his food and not just being nice.

The comment about his lifespan caused him to pause to think on it.

Jiaoqiu rolled over in bed, sighing. It was cold this morning and the bed was so warm, but he didn't want breakfast to be late.

So he squirmed a bit and tried to get up. He still couldn't see but he could feel his way at least.

Hopefully, Feixiao would stop him.

"That's what I was wondering," Jiaoqiu smiled lightly, turning his head to pinpoint on Moze's general direction.

"What are you doing hiding there? Did Feixiao ask you to come keep an eye on me?"

His ears flicked and his nose wiggled a little, helping him focus in on her location. He smiled.

"Welcome back," he said, "How did your training go?"

"I hope you all enjoy good food this Christmas. Merry Christmas and don't forget the peppers." 🌶️

He was starting to get used to hearing and smelling her instead of relying on his eyes but he wasn't 100% confident yet.

"Thank you, nose boops tickle."

"You too," he murmured, wrapping his tail around his twin as well. He could smell the wounds so he was careful as well, just resting his cheek on the other foxian's shoulder.

"It's just been a cold and achy day," he sighed, "It'll be better by tomorrow."

"Mm, well that would depend, I suppose. How much spice can you handle?"
