for me every mirrorless or dslr body is just a soulless capturing device. the lens brings the optics and you as a perceiver bring the soul and attach meaning to the captured image. camera bodies are interchangeable imo.

One might call it very weird but the concept is worth a try I think. The lack of bokeh and depth of field would be my biggest no go. While the theoretical concept might be unconventional it can still be very interesting in terms of versatility for travel or street purposes.
