We've long been at "insatiable greed" point of late stage capitalism. People may feel helpless but there's a very easy way to kick companies like this. Delete their apps.

Ju: @CoreyBrickley Seguir .. . i struggle with a brain that wants to stiffly copy whatever reference i'm using and one thing i've found helpful: 1. draw big blocky shapes over the reference 2. turn off ref and redraw big blocky shapes 3. draw in figure with big blocky shapes overlaid Traducir post
photo of model posing as an elegant elf woman that ive blocked out with a chunky red brush
in a separate window ive redrawn the red blocks, then have drawn details over the red blocks, using the photo+red transparency as reference
final doodle of the figure drawing without the red blocking
this is making the rounds on facebook so i thought id bring it here for u m'lord

Turns out those scenes were almost bang on.
The unrealistic part was the humans working together to overcome the problem & save the world. Sigh.
Occasional reminder that there’s no, “it’s too late, its over” for anthropogenic climate change. Every molecule of CO2 that doesn’t go into the atmosphere makes a difference. Preventing 0.1 degree of warming makes a difference. Every bit of climate resilience we build together makes a difference.

Almost lost to burnout this year. Next year I’m going in swinging
